At the intersection of audiovisual production and corporate communications, I help shape stories from concept to execution.
I am Katja, a media professional with a background in production, post- production and strategic communication.
MOTIVATION
My path into the media industry wasn’t linear. While I’ve always been interested in how stories are built, my perspective shifted when I experienced a large-scale film production up close in Vienna. I stood in the cold for hours on end, and watched a film crew work, simply to understand how so many people with different roles can work together so seamlessly. Right then and there, I understood what I wanted to do. Since then, I’ve steadily built experience across both corporate communications and audiovisual production.
BACKGROUND
With a background in journalism, communication, and digital media production, I combine theoretical understanding with hands-on experience across both corporate communications and audiovisual production.
- Bachelor’s degree in journalism and communications studies at University of Vienna
- Master’s degree in digital media production, specializing in Film & Television at University of Applied Sciences St. Pölten

Audiovisual Production
I’ve worked across different roles, from being on set to editing in post. Seeing how everything comes together step by step has really shaped how I approach projects and teamwork.
Corporate Communications
Coming from a journalism and communication background, I like to keep things clear and easy to understand. I’m interested in how ideas can be structured and communicated in a way that actually reaches people.
Music
Music has always been part of what I do, both on its own and alongside film projects. I enjoy working with sound to support the mood and feel of a scene without taking too much attention away from it.
